"For My Good"
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." ~Romans 8:28 (KJV)
SISTAH DECLARATION:
When I pray, things are moved on my behalf!
I like that it says all things will cooperate and will work together for your benefit. The implication here is that if things don't line up, God is going to make them work to benefit you. Interestingly though, it is not only talking about things. It even means all people. He is going to bring together whatever is required. That tells you about the power of prayer. Prayer causes things to be moved in your behalf.
Prayer causes all things to cooperate together for the benefit of them that love God who are the called. That word 'called' found in Romans 8:28 means those who are invited, those who are invited or appointed according to the Father's purpose. That is describing you. If you love God, and if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then He has invited you to fulfill His purpose.
The Father has invited you to operate in His call on your life and He wants to make it happen. Romans 8:29 says, For whom he did foreknow... God knew you before your mother knew you. For whom he did foreknow he also did predestinate. That word "predestinate" means that He limited in advance. The word limited is not used in a negative sense here. It means that it was God's determination to limit the enemy from being able to destroy you. In other words, He has produced the lane of blessing for you to follow.
