As part of the tradition of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) and Feed the Children (FTC), a collaboration with the Great Redeemer Christian Church (GRCC) to host a food give-away during the Christmas holidays is underway. The purpose is to spread joy and cheer, to uplift the spirits of the poor, needy, and homeless during the holidays by presenting them with a 100 lbs. of food, personal care items, and gifts.
Because we live in such ominous and precarious times, this year’s charitable outreach is needed more than ever. More people than ever are losing their jobs, homes and personal savings and will need a helping hand.
An event of this magnitude requires the support of donors and sponsors. Without the support of donors and sponsors, this effort is not possible. The host church is required to provide $100,000 toward this initiative. To this end, I respectfully seek your support in donating funds to make this charitable event possible.
Without your donations we are not able to fulfill the requirement as the host church to feed 5,000 families. All donations are tax deductible as Feed the Children (FTC) is a not for profit charitable organization.
